    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

If you had described to me, the Skybolt that you feature in the "Outline" part of your website, I would have not even bothered to look at it. Not in a million years would I have thought that those colors would look acceptable.

However, I cannot get over just how visually stunning that airplane is. Where is this plane from? Have you made aquaintence with the owner/builder? Is it located in the States? (I'm guessing no.)

I just think that it is a wonderful example of a non-traditional paint scheme. I wish I had the guts and talent to come up with stuff like that.
