Looking to change to a new starter on a Pitts S-2A with AEIO-360-A1A.

Any thoughts on pros and cons of Sky-Tec 149-12LS/PM versus 149-12XLT vs the more standard NL?

Any reasons to not go with XLT or LS/PM? Some say these crank with less power than the NL and can't get through even the first compression stage?

And I'm not sure what's the difference of LS vs PM? [Edit: Answer: Right vs left side solenoid]

Thanks for any advice.
