I didn't end up buying the Starduster on eBay The guy who "won" the bid reneged. I was offered it as a second chance buy, but I declined. It is back up on eBay. It is a nice looking airplane, but has a cg problem. Easy fix, but not something I need to deal with at this time.
Still looking.

I suspect NOT an "easy fix". I've owned a Starduster II that was built to original plans, IO360 on a short mount and the only "easy(NOT)fix" was a new longer mount. I was light at the time and could fly it with my wife/min. fuel but 200 pounders were out. That plane(N2340) has been since rebuilt with new mount/gear. (OBTW, the gear on this airplane is likely another issue.... like tail VERY heavy)
On top of that, I would NOT waste my time building a new mount/cowl etc, Etc, ETC!! for a C125 or ANY other 125 horse for a SA300...
This airplane has MANY issues, as 2340 did back in 1985.
OTOH a LIGHT couple may fine they might have fun with it as-is....?

I would like to hang a radial on it. It is N4523, not N2340.

My airplane back in 1985 was N2340.
