Topic: Seat Cushions Posted: Jul/12/2010 at 11:52 |
Being a really needy aircraft owner, I'm wondering if anyone has a good supplier for seat cushions. My airplane came with some junky 2 piece ones and I just haven't been able to find anything suitable yet. Are there single piece ones available somewhere, or has someone found a 2 piece with appropriate padding in the seat that will keep me pain free for more than 45 minutes? I've looked thru the standard suppliers but haven't found anythng that looks good.

I purchased the Oregon Aero "booster" seats for my AC2. They work and look great!

These seats look real nice, but apparantly are only made for the RVs. Do you know, if they will make them to measure for other aircrafts like Acro Sport ?

Yes, they built my seats for the RV9A I built and they were beautiful! So when I built my AcroSport 1 I asked if she ( Dee )could make the seat for it. You'll need to supply some very specific measurements as each AS1 or 2 could be slightly different but, the seat that Dee made turned out great and fits perfectly. I'll see if I can find a picture and forward it to you. Ron Drake NX53DB
