My ultimate kit came with a new Haigh Tailwheel system. I plan to fly it 99% of the time off of my 2000 foot grass strip. The strip is fairly smooth but does have the occasional rough spot. I have very little tailwheel time but plan to rectify that as I build the plane. I was wondering if I’d be better off getting a 4 or 6 inch steerable tailwheel for ease of taxi? Any opinions appreciated.
