Hi All,
I have been told that the best stuff to shift epoxy based paints from metalwork is a chemical called "Dasic D23" so i have gone and bought some. On reading the health and safety warnings on the can it seems it is evil personified! Not only will it strip you to the bone it will kill all the worlds first born when you open the can!! Does anybody have any experience of the chemical and what is the best way to handle it?
Also, when the metal is stripped what is the best way to prevent corrosion prior to painting? my inspector will be away for a while and he wants to see the parts in their "raw" state!
Cheers,
Mike
