There is a thread going regarding the Mgl rdac unit which Mgl specs for forward of firewall mounting having a temp limit of 158F.

Since I know a few of you are using it I’d like a poll of people’s experiences, good and bad, and including mounting (high or low on fw) rough distance for rear of engine, blast tube installed, or simple heat shield (say a thin Al u-section going over the top, or whatever. Also hours in use.

More credit for those from TX and AZ than AK.

Thanks in advance. I am planning to use it, but rethinking my instal plan.
