Getting ready to start the aileron gap fairings in the aileron wells. Looks like there are at least five bends in these fairings, and I can seethey have to be built in two pieces because of the taper in the outboard bay. I plan to make patterns from card stock to get accurate dimensions and a good fit. Anybody have some tips on making these fairings. Has anybody made them in two pieces (top and bottom) with a seam running spanwise and then joined with flush rivets to insure a glove fit? Can anyone steer me to some good photos of these fairings on the forum. Thanks.
