    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Just saw this part of the forum so I thought I would introduce my self. Been flying since the mid 1980s, built a Bearhawk, flew it to Alaska and a bunch of other places, also built an RV-12 with two dozen High School kids and our EAA chapter. I have over 1000 hrs of tail wheel time. I'm a semi retired aeronautical engineer and soon to be CFI. My next airplane adventure will be a biplane. I'm looking around. A Starduster Too is preferred but a Skybolt is a close second. At 6'2'' and 200 lbs an Acrosport II may be a bit small. If you are in the Northeast and willing to show me your plane or give a ride that would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Mark
