Raven just built me very nice SS exhaust for my Bolt. The hanger fitting on the collector is very close to the firewall as shown in the first photo. Ideally the exhaust should be supported by the engine, but as the second photo shows the distance and angles engine to this hanger are far from ideal. I'm thinking of coming up a couple of inches from the lower cross tube just behind the firewall to anchor a second hanger fitting on the front side about three or four inches directly above the fitting on the collector. I would then suspend the collector with a strong vertical spring of appropriate length. My objective is to provide support for weight of the exhaust and heavy collector while still allowing for vertical and horizontal movement with the engine. Anyone with experience please make suggestions both positive and negative. I value the guidance I've always gotten form this forum. Thanks--Ed T
