Parachute Repacking to 180 days - Comment Period Open
May 22, 2007 - The FAA has issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM), FAA-2005-21829, Parachute Equipment and Packing. It basically states that the FAA is planning on extending the parachute repack timeline from 120 days to 180 days. The proposal may be viewed at http://a257.g.akamaitech.net/7/257/2422/01jan20071800/edocket.access.gpo.gov/2007/E7-9875.htm<A name=P2_1307></A>. We are asking for your support in getting this proposal approved. Please go to the included link that provides background on the proposal and a link to the FAA web site for registration of comments.
