Is there a supplier of rod ends in different lengths ? There are times when you are looking for flying or landing wires and as luck would usually have it , the wires that you find are often an inch or sometimes more too short . Availability of the ends in varius lengths would sure be a money saver in a lot of instances . Another question seeking advice is , any problem with machining them yourself if the above is not available . From what I understand , the majority are machined using 4130 Moly and some are stainless . I would prefer the 4130 to bypass the issues common to stainless . Cannot see an issue with lengthened ends if fabricated correctly using the correct material . šŸ’
