I’m following the other thread regarding an MT on a lyc540.
I didn’t want to muddy that thread but I’m looking at a C182 with an MT prop with about a year and 350 hrs on it. Nicks were one concern of mine.
I’m told that MT says nicks can be epoxy filled and sanded. I believe I’ve read on this forum of some needing to send MTs for resealing.
In short, is the MT on a 182 facing the same concerns as what I’m reading among the biplane community? Opinions on if it is a desirable prop for a cruiser or a money pit ?
I know very little and could use the cliff notes.
Thanks.
Dan.
