N80JR is for sale. We built this one for John Ross a noted author and firearms expert. Steve Wolf test flew it us and as I recall, it flew hands off from the first flight.
John stayed in touch over the years. He was devastated when his friend/mechanic passed out while driving up to the hangar allowing his truck to push the plane back. John was working on a new novel that was going to include 1920-30s Aviation as part of the storyline. John planned on having the model 12 repaired but passed away before getting it done.
The prop can be repaired as can the cowl and dings in the tail.
