I posted on another thread and probably should have started a new one . I am curious as to the possibility of the Ultimate Biplane or Ultimate Pitts being flown without the canopy . Their canopy is rather large , compared to the standard Pitts sliding canopy . I've read on threads here that the Pitts can be flown in normal flight and even can be landed with the canopy open . Would there be too much interruption in the airflow over the tail assembly on the Ultimate canopy equipped planes to remove it or has it been attempted by anyone here on the forum ?
