    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Screw spacing on the Trim Servo Tab hinge

Screw spacing on the Trim Servo Tab hinge

I did a lot of research to figure out how I wanted to space the screws to hold on the hinge for the Trim Servo Tab. Tony Bingelis suggests a screw at every solid hinge piece (twice as many as I have here.) I took a look at what the other builders were doing, also looked at what Cessna did. Post inspection of this hinge: that ain't going nowhere.
