I’m just looking for a cheap plane to get my flying and not take away much time or money from my restoration on N26AH. Also wanting something for my kids to learn in (one is 17 and other is 11...both have a strong interest in flying)

Well I’ve been looking at all sorts of planes and found a pretty good deal on a 1940 Aeronca 65TC today. It’s local to me so that’s a huge plus.

Anyone have anything to say about them? Kinda rare I think. It’s a lot like a L-3 but I think different. This one does have a 65hp Continental. Any observations on people who have flown one? How’s it fly compared to a 65hp Cub? Etc etc. any and all comments welcome.
