    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

We have a lovely Steen Skybolt with a 200hp fuel injected engine. It's the first time we have looked at chaning the bungees, and were surprised to find 3 on each side. There's no doubt that the suspension has been stiff, almost too stiff landng on our bumoy grass field, which makes it a bit hoppy if you don't get the speed absolutely right.

So, should we be using 2 or 3? What are the rights and wrongs of it, and has anyone run the bolt on 2 for any time?
