    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

For any out you who think that a Pitts can never have enough horsepower, a project just came up on Trade-A-Plane. Amos Buettell's Dan Rihn designed "Awsome Lady", is for sale. Lyco IO-720 powered. It is priced so that you buy the engine and get the airframe for free. If you have never looked at the bigger Lyco, the 720 is 8 cylinders and over 400HP. I assume that this ship will pass everything but the gas pump. Not for the faint of heart.

Best of luck,

Wes
