Hello All,
I've been looking at Skybolts for some time, but have decided I must seriously consider the Acro II. I'll be buying rather than building. There is a good thread about target wts, gross/acro wts ect on the Acro 1. Could you fill me in on what to look for in a II? Some of the early Skybolts had an issue with too much wt on the tail wheel. Any thing like that on the Acro II? Any fuseloge streches, larger rudder/vertical stab. ect? Is the angle valve 360 too heavy for the II?
I will use it as my retirement toy. And introduce some youngsters to tailwheels and acro. Paul P is not a small guy, so I'm hoping my 6'3" son-in-law will be able fit. I'm 6' 180lbs. and don't want another AC that I'm uncomfortable in.
Thanks,
Daryl
