Here is a question to the Acro SportII builders and owners:
Before I can fly my Acro Sport II, I have to determine the emty CG and also the operating range of the loaded CG.
Now, the only information I have is from the AS II plans, which says the EWCG of the prototype was 61.31 inces from the datum line which is the propeller hub.
My AS II is build according to the plans and the engine is a O-360 as is the prototype engine, so will it be OK if I find my EWCG to be near the 61.31 as the prototype ? I am not sure of that, as the prototype, as far as I know, had no electrics and at only 875 lbs was possibly weighed before covering. But if so what is a good EWCG and what is the operating range af the loaded CG ??
