I have late 1980’s built Acroduster SA750 with the infamous / notorious eye bolt cabane struts. Given the recent accident event, I have decided to build new cabane struts that eliminate the eyebolts (conforming to the Starduster design.) I received, and truly appreciate, couching from several individuals on this forum and may reach out to all of you from time-to-time for your experiences and first-hand wisdom to resolve installation issues. I Thank You in Advance.
I am attaching picture of the original cabane struts in this initial thread and will post progressive images as I proceed with the replacement struts. I am working with an A&P mechanic / fellow builder who is highly experienced with biplanes.
