Hello,

As mentioned on the design notice (sheet 1 of plans) of SD2, this airplane is basically not intended to perform aerobatic maneuvres. However many people use it for aerobatic practice.

For this kind of flights:

- Are there typical modifications to undertake during the construction?

- The maneuvring speed "Va = 105 mph" mentioned seems to be not big enough. According to the rule JAR-23.335 (Design Airspeed) the value of Va may not be less than: Vs * square root of (n). this mean for the SD2: 56mph * square_root_of (6g) = 137mph

- That is the theory. but I will be very interrested to know what are your experiences with light aerobatics practice on SD2?

PS: I tried to find former threads, but without succes...

Many thanks in advance for your comments
