I've just finished a couple of projects to replace my (heavy) Spats and Spinner. These are from Rob Millinship (Aerographic) here in the UK. Very little prep needed, then I've given them a clear coat to make the Carbon weave "pop". The spats in particular were much lighter than the old fibreglass ones so I'm pretty pleased.

In the final shot you can see the new spinner arrangement. The old one had spun back and front plates. The new one uses laser cut aluminium and a moulded composite rear flange plus laser cut metal brackets bolted to the front plate. Much better - and easy to get to run true.
