Hi,

Just installed new spades in the plane and got them leveled with chord line without any washers . My old spades needed washers to get them close to where they needed to be.

The new spades are very close to where they need to be but have no centering feel and are a little snatchy. Question is, should I install balsa wedges on aileron trailing edges inboard, middle or outboard, How long should they be for first guess, Install on upper or lower ailerons.

I used P strip in the past but that didn't have much effect, maybe to small.

I was thinking of balsa 3/8 inch tall, triangle shape 10 inches long.

Anyone know what others have used successfully?

Thanks,
Dan
