I am rebuilding C wings and it’s time to fabricate the aileron coves. Is it worthwhile fabricating foam and glass coves or just bending up aluminum to resemble a trailing edge with a extended lower curved surface? Aluminum ones were originally fitted, but they seem crude and fragile are only held in place with nails.
