I started making my aileron hinges today. The only other time I've ever bent metal was making my drag wire lugs and they weren't too bad since the bends were shallow. I made some white oak blocks to bend the hinges with. The first side bent really nice, but when I flipped it and bent the other side, it didn't bend well at all. Just wondering if there was a trick that I was missing. I'm hoping to get the hang of this before I have a big pile of scrap!! Here's a shot of what my second attempt came out like.
