Dear Biplane Aviators:

I have had an Acrosport II for about 3 years. The aileron forces are a bit high
relative to my Decathlon which has a set of aileron spades. I would like to
try aileron spades on my A-II. Does anyone have any experience with spades
on the A-II?

I have seen examples of spades on the A-II mounted on the lower wing. Do they complicate wing-down crosswind landings?

Any ideas on where I can obtain a pair? Can commercial spades (e.g. Pitts)
be used? All advice much appreciated.

Many Thanks,

Nate
