Hi, I have a question about recommendedadhesivesfor aluminum bonding - specifically for my aileron leading edge to spar.
I didn't realise you need to glue them, and wasexpectingthe rivets to be enough, but the Raven instructions indicate an appropriate aluminum adhesive is required.
I did some searching and found this comprehensive thread covering the issue on homebuiltairplanes.com:http://www.homebuiltairplanes.com/forums/aircraft-design-aerodynamics-new-technology/5293-conclusions-aluminum-adhesive-bonding-tests.html
It looks like Partite 3750 is the product of choice, and another guy recommended good results withSikaflex polyurethane adhesive (product code unspecified).

Would appreciate any insight from more learned gentlemen (and gentlewimmin) on this forum on whether these are good (or too good?).

I was kinda just gonna go with Gorilla Glue or Contact Adhesive and be done with it until I started researching.. now I'm not sure!

Thanks in advance
Stuart
