I'm looking through the plans, planning my big metal buy, and I see that Ed Marquart has specified 6061-T3 tubing for the control push-pull tubes. ACS doesn't carry 6061-T3, but they do carry 6061-T6 tubing. I'm not sufficiently familiar with the stresses of push-pull tubes and aluminum tempers to know if these two things are compatible. Does anyone know enough to comment on the suitability of the T6 temper for push-pull tube duty?
