Hello
I am looking at the subject FAA checklist to determine amateur built certification eligibility and it seems to me that it’s tailored to mono wing all metal airplanes. I have an example of one filled out for a cubcrafter airplane and a few tasks were deemed non applicable by the applicant. Does anyone know if tasks can be added to tailor the checklist to the airplane being built?
For example, there is nothing about wing trammeling, or flying wire rigging, or putting bungees on, or doping fabric and putting it in silver that is essential for a ragwing airplane.
I realize that most airplanes will meet the 51% rule even with a non tailored checklist, so to most it may not matter, but in my case getting credit for tasks not in the checklist may be important.
Thanks in advance.
