I'm finishing up a hardware order. I will be using galvanized cable for my rudder and tailwheel steering cables. I am reading that I could use either plain copper or zinc coated copper sleeves for the galvanized cable. Im looking at -24 and -44 for 1/8 galvanized cable.

What is the difference between the two, and is one preferred over the other? Is it just extra corrosion protection with the zinc coating? I would think it gets messed up when you swage them.

Thanks
