I've searched the forum on this, and came up with some info - yet I still have a few questions.

Some posts imply that only the forward gear attach points require the addition of the gussets. Anyone know of any failures on the rear attach brackets?

My plans (tan cover) show the gussets in Sheet 5, Zone B1&2, and call for 16 required. But the Plans Corrections (Note 3) reads "Our gussets were welded only on the outside to facilitate ease in construction". It seems that this would be 8 gussets in this particular instance.

So, it appears that there are several approaches to this. I understand that the earlier plans did not require the gussets at all, so I'm wondering just how much of a problem this really is. Mine has the gussets on the front attach brackets, but not on the rear. My first thought is to bite the bullet and add them, but on the other hand I don't want to do needless work.

Any insights appreciated.
Thanks
