So I flew to a "box day" and it was mainly hanging out with people in the rain. I had to launch to head home for my wife's Bday dinner so I flew out and encountered some light rain (green to yellow on ForeFlight).

So on the downwind I am doing 100MPH so I reduce power and pitch up just a bit while I am looking at the runway and checking the taxiways ect..... I glance at my ASI and it still reads 100MPH. So I pull back a bit more while looking at the end of the runway..... But the spider sense is tingling - The plane is not acting like I am flying a 100MPH.... Glance back at the ASI. Still reads 100MPH.

I add power and fly the remaining pattern with my head outside and ignoring the ASI. I land, pull off, shut down, open the hangar door, push the plane in, change shoes, grab a coke, check facebook.... ASI still reads 100MPH.

I check the pitot tube and it seems clear. I 'gently' put some suction on the pitot and the ASI drops to 80, a bit more and it drops to 60. I blow gently and it pops back up to 100MPH. I play with it a bit and I get it so when I blow in I can feel it release and push back....

So... did I just get some H2O in the system and it should be fine?
