    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Two issues:

Would like some advice/assistance in covering a couple of control surfaces in prep for doing the wings. We are in Cedar Rapids and more than willing to travel a couple hundred mile radius with materials. We are using Stewarts System and I don't see a class on the schedule books for some time. I do have a couple of weeks of vacation to use by Oct 1.

Second, I am nearing time to do a serious rigging of the plane before attempting to cover the wings and would like someone to inspect our work to date and assist in a preliminary rigging. I put the wings on it last year (year before?) but never the flying wires. I have made rigging boards per Bill Rose. I think I have everything necessary but will verify when time is near. I prefer not to move the plane from the hanger but can compensate for travel.

my ph number is 319-360-5938.
