    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

I recently replaced some fuel lines on my project from the center section to the fuselage. The last rendition had a Y that was unsupported between the cabanes. Apparently it worked fine but was hard to look at.

The new lines follow the cabanes down, I was thinking of splitting a piece of hose to make a cushion and then strapping the lines to the cabanes. I hadn’t decided what I should use to attach them. Tape, aluminum strap? Leather ties or am I better to leave them without?

If you have any good ideas, show me.
Thanks, Dan.
