    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I have a 1.5 diameter axle that is requiring a spacer between axle plate and thewheel bearing race of 2.25" in length. I am using 1.625" x .050 tubing for the spacer. However, the bearing race has a large radius at the contact point. In otherwords, the end of tubing will not be contacting squarely on a flat of the bearing race. Has anyone elseseen this? Has it been a problem in operations? Am I concerned about nothing?
Thanks.
Dave
