I have been using a Scott 3200 on the Skybolt. It has worked well with the exception of the steering ears bending. I am told a common problem. Minor but a pain is the number of flat tires I have had with both scott and maule pneumatic tail wheels. I have through trial and error concluded that the 1 3/4 flat, long citabria tail wheel spring works best on my aircraft. I would like to lower the weight and also move the CG forward. I am looking at the Steen flat spring tail wheel. I know the round spring combination has caused some problems, has anyone any experience with the flat spring solid rubber wheel Steen markets?
