    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Can I please sample everyone's, who's willing to share, basic (empty) weights.

I want to see the spread, plus where mine sits in the field. We are putting her on a diet this winter & am intrigued how much we can loose & get ourselves a base target weight.

We have an IO360 A1B6 (angled)
Fully injected, inverted oil. Wood fixed pitch prop, 2 place canopy, top wing aux fuel tank. Pc680 battery, plane power alt, standard instrument fit, Dittel radio.

Just to say, I'm interested in a good middle weight, not the lightest, bare bones machine.

Thanks chaps for sharing your intimate weights

Alistair
