My Skybolt build includes a Bendix PS-5C pressurized carb. It was given a complete overhaul... 20-30 years ago and has not been run since.

My dad feels that since it has been dry and unused for so long, it will most likely need another overhaul prior to being used. He also tells me that overhauling this carb is very expensive, and we could get a "throttle body" for less than the price of overhauling. When I asked him if it was "throttle body injection", he said no, it's a throttle body carb that would still perform fine throughout inversion and negative g maneuvers.

I've had my pilot's license for 22 years, and I'm actually very good at vehicle mechanics, but I can't find what he's talking about. I tried doing some searches but haven't been able to find anything. Anyone know what he's talking about?
