This is a real stab in the dark but -
50+ years ago I had a hard cover book that each chapter in it was a different first hand account of the most famous or most memorable flight of a WW2 fighter pilot. Some were Medal of Honor flights, some were becoming an Ace, etc. The book is long gone and I do not remember the name or author. I would love to be able to find it for my grandson as he loves reading about WW2 battles.
If anyone knows the book or any other good one please let me know. He is currently reading about the Batan Death March and is mesmerized by it.
Thank you
