Hi all,

I'm exploring the idea of building a S1-SS from the Steen plans (with a VR3 fuse kit). I haven't bought anything yet and this would be my first build so I'm a complete newbie!

My question is regards the suitability of my garage as a build environment. It is around 7.5m long by 3.5m wide and about 3.5m high. I know this is big enough to build the individual main components, but I wondered at what point in the build the wings have to be secured as obviously it then won't be big enough!

I've just had a new roof put on the garage to ensure it is waterproof but it is not insulated so can get a bit damp - can this be a problem for the wood construction?

Any help much appreciated

Chip
