    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Probably done before many times on here, but I have a short-gear Skybolt and the bungees will need changing soon. We previously fitted three each side (1280 HD I think) and the ride was very stiff. It's a four-cylinder (IO-360-A1B series) with Hartzell C/S prop. What do people find works nicely with a four-cylinder Skybolt? I remember they were quite difficult to fit with the fairing hoops quite close to the bungee spigots.

Many thanks
