    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

Hi,
I am attempting to complete an abandoned s1-c / s1-s project.

I recently purchased some S1-SS wingdrawings from Steen Aero in the belief that I could scratch build myself a set of new wings.

This is not so, you have to buy their kit and jigs which they told me afterwards.

They also avoided accepting any other orders for items.
My entry into the world of Pitts building has been very dissappointing, having built an RV and got used to an honest company with high quality product and service!
I'm sure Curtiss was a great guy, but i'd have paid someone else to produce proper engineering drawings.
