Hi ALL,
I have noticed a lot of people buying their 4130 tubing from aircraft companies. Is this necessary or can I purchase my material locally. I believe I have a local source for 4130 tubing and flat stock. This would be nice since I could buy smaller quantities and pay as I go. Since this is an experimental aircraft the tubing shouldn't need to be certified. The question is: Is the tubing certified or not and does it really matter?

Thanks, Skyboltchris
