I bought a Skybolt last summer and have been trying to stop small oil leaks. A buddy suggested that maybe high crankcase pressure was causing my problems. In short I tee'd into the breather between the engine and the tee on the firewall. It was to windy to fly it but on run up I saw .2 psi. This equates to about 5" water which I believe is way too much. Can a partially blocked oil separator (slobber can) cause high back pressure? I blew out the breather going to the tail but haven't serviced any of the other parts-yet. BTW it has an IO-360 with Christen inverted oil system.
