Gentlemen;

I have a Pitts canopy that i received with my project. It seems to be longer then most of the S-1C canopies I see, i would guess its for a long fuse S-1? When I mounted it onto the cockpit sheetmetal, square to the windshield, it left a slightly larger gap to the turtle deck on the aft edge then I would've liked.

I'm trying to devise some way to make some sort of gap seal / filler.

possibility #1- install a slit hose onto the aft edge and cover with vinyl / leather?
possibility #2- hardware store stick on gap seal?
Possibility #3- ??

anyone ever messed with this type of thing?
