Carbon/graphite arrow Javalin

Was considering going away from the standard wood dowl rod javalin and simply using a Carbon/graphite arrow with the feathers removed sliding two small nylon tubes to protect the areas where the javalin contacts the flying wires over the arrow and tying wraping or zip tying the arrow to the flying wires.

Anyone done this? I know aluminum javalin are a no-no but thought this might work quite well seeing that arrows are fairly cheap, really light, and pretty darn strong.

Any comments please reply.
