Gents,

I am ready to begin the covering process. I have all of the materials ready to go. I have read the manuals for both SuperFlite and Polyfibre. Reference is made to a chafing tape to be placed over protrusions , sharp edges ,etc. to avoid damaging the fabric. But offers little more than that.
So, Does anyone use chafing tape on the metal ribs on the tail feathers or any specific point just for added protection?
Also, I was wondering about the potential that the rib stitch cord will be cut or frayed by the edges of the metal ribs. Anyone have any thoughts or advice in that regard?
Thanks
Dave
