    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Need to get the main gear off the ground and support it for a while. Need to Replace brake pads, rotors, refinish the wheels Etc. I lifted it with a floor jack & an oak 4x4 that I notched to lift on air frame near where the main gear attach one side at a time. Was Sketchy to say the least, it worked for inspection purposes but wouldn't trust it. searched the site, found a thread from 2017 about Jack Pads Etc. With an included link, when I try to access the link it says it is no longer available. There was a reply about something Ndtoo had made to lift with a floor jack in the link ????? But I can not access it.

Thanks Jeff N51MD
